What is this project?

A cinematic AI-generated food art series capturing movement, flavor, and emotion — where realism meets imagination. This Maariteal project is part of Maryam Talebi Nia's generative design portfolio, where AI visual art, art direction, and computational image-making are shaped into a clear visual system.

How was it made?

The Art of Taste is an experimental AI-generated food photography series that explores the poetry of flavor through dynamic floating compositions. Each artwork captures the moment before the meal comes together — a suspended explosion of ingredients, textures, and aroma. The series blends cinematic lighting, hyperreal textures, and precise art direction, turning simple dishes into visual narratives of warmth, comfort, and motion. Featured concepts: 1. Stacked Comfort — a levitating sandwich revealing every layer of indulgence — from melted cheese to golden toast. 2. Ramen Symphony — a deconstructed bowl of ramen, where noodles and toppings float mid-air in perfect harmony 3. Morning Energy — a minimalist breakfast scene where eggs, sausages, and greens dance above the pan. This project demonstrates how AI-driven realism can bring motion and sensory storytelling into the realm of still life, transforming everyday food into visual emotion.

Why it matters

The work shows how references, composition, color, atmosphere, and production constraints can be tuned into a finished visual direction. It reflects Maariteal's focus on cinematic image systems, creative strategy, and AI-assisted visual storytelling.
